You are invited to a day of family fun at Museum of the Cherokee People!

Story Gathering offers a day of stories, culture, and educational activities for kids of all ages.

At 12pm, enjoy a reading Brad Wagnon (Cherokee Nation), author of beloved books like ‘The First Fire: A Cherokee Story,’ ‘How the World Was Made,’ ‘Baby’s First Cherokee,’ and many more. Get your favorite book signed by the author!

The Museum’s collections and education teams will offer free children’s activities throughout the day. Chelly’s Signature Sips will be set up with delicious dirty sodas, lemonades, and handcrafted energy drinks available for purchase.
