Downloading Your Digital Membership Card
The Museum of the Cherokee People is pleased to offer digital membership cards. Now, with your card conveniently stored on your smartphone, you have your benefits at your fingertips.
Download the “eMembership Card” app from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.
- Search “Museum of the Cherokee People” or scroll and select Museum of the Cherokee People and tap Find My Membership Cards.
- Enter your last name and either your phone number on file or membership ID number (included in your welcome letter). Select Find.
- Select Download My Card when your information appears.
- Tap on the picture of the envelope to see your membership cards.
- Select Add To Wallet to add your membership card to your device’s digital wallet. This step is highly recommended so your membership card is accessible offline.
Sharing and Using Your Guest Passes
MotCP offers giftable guest passes at select membership levels that the cardholder may digitally share with a friend. Your guest passes are stored in the eMembership Card app. To locate your guest passes, open the eMembership Card app, tap Membership Benefits, and then Guest Passes. You may pull up your passes to present at the MotCP Box Office when visiting with guests, or you can share guest passes to your friends and family via email or text by following the instructions below. To share a guest pass: Once you have logged into the eMembership Card app, tap Membership Benefits, then Guest Passes. Tap the share button in the top right corner of your screen, then select your guest pass. A check mark will appear on the guest pass’s barcode. Tap the share button again to text, email, or print your guest passes.
Using Your Reciprocal Benefits When Visiting Other Organizations
The Museum of the Cherokee People is pleased to now offer reciprocal benefits at select membership levels. Reciprocal benefits grant the cardholder(s) free or reduced admission at participating museums and cultural centers throughout the United States and even internationally. Your digital membership card displays the reciprocal logo(s) and list participation in the reciprocal programs as a benefit of the membership level. Simply show your digital membership card at participating institutions to receive free or reduced admission.

Frequently Asked Questions
I don’t have a mobile phone or smartphone; what can I do?
I downloaded my card, but now I can’t find it! Where did it go?
Simply search in your app library for eMembership. You can also add your card to your Apple or Google Wallet after downloading.
I renewed or made changes to my membership, but my membership card hasn’t been updated. How do I fix this?
To get your new membership card, simply click “Find My Membership Cards” in the eMembership app and complete that process again, including downloading your new membership cards.
There is more than one adult named on my membership. How do they access their membership card?
All adults named on the membership will be able to download a digital membership card following the same steps outlined above under “Downloading Your Digital Membership Card.”
There is an error on my membership card. How can I fix it?
