Holiday & Winter Hours at Museum of the Cherokee People
We welcome you and your family this holiday season!
Winter is here on the Qualla Boundary! As you plan your North Carolina mountain vacation this holiday season, please note Museum of the Cherokee People’s observed hours:
- The Museum and Museum Store will be closed Christmas Eve, December 24, and Christmas Day, December 25.
- Both the Museum and Museum Store will be closed New Year’s Eve, December 31.
- The Museum and Store will be closed January 1 through January 9 for annual inventory.
- Beginning in December, both the Museum and Museum Store will be closed on Mondays, observing winter hours. Regular hours (seven days a week, 9am-5pm) will resume Monday, March 10. The Museum’s administrative offices will remain open during winter hours.
